She worked for three years at Hitwise, an online competitive intelligence company for which publishing research findings was a primary marketing and public relations strategy. Hitwise was acquired by Experian in 2007. LeeAnn established a research practice and a corporate blog at Efficient Frontier, one of the world's largest search engine marketing firms. She also worked as a consumer analyst at Levi Strauss and as an account planner (consumer researcher) in advertising.
